Annual leave entitlement is based on your shift pattern. Employees on a standard Monday to Friday contract enjoy 25 days of annual leave, in addition to 8 statutory bank holidays.
We offer various discretionary bonus schemes, with eligibility dependent on your role within the company. JDR has an All Employee Bonus scheme that allows participation from all employees regardless of their role within the business. The targets of the scheme are split into five key areas with three financial targets and two delivery targets. If all elements of the targets are hit over the course of the year, there is potential for people to receive up to £1,200 with the achieved payout then being doubled if the EBITDA targets are also hit that year.
JDR provides various employee benefits, including:
- Cycle to Work Scheme: Encouraging sustainable commuting options and offering employees the opportunity to purchase a bike and the eligible accessories up to the limit of £1,600 from over 2000 retailers.
- Long Service Awards: Recognising commitment and loyalty of employees reaching various milestones during their journey with JDR at each 5 year increment.
- Rapid Rewards and Employee Suggestion Schemes: Incentivising innovation and engagement, the schemes allow recognition to people who go above and beyond or highlight areas of the business that can benefit from small improvements helping to streamline or improve from within.
All JDR UK employees automatically become members of Healthshield following their first three months of employment. The scheme reimburses out-of-pocket medical, dental, and optical expenses up to an annual coverage limit based on individual cover levels. Employees have the option to purchase higher coverage levels and extend coverage to family members and the plan also includes reimbursements for well-being and alternative treatments, along with self-improvement assessments, 24/7 GP access and discounts from over 600 reward partners.
Employees are enrolled in a Death in Service plan from their first day of employment, providing a payment value of three times their base salary for peace of mind.
Yulife is an app provided to all employees in association with the Life Assurance scheme. It offers a gamified way for people to have fun, stay healthy and get rewarded by earning money for walking, cycling, meditating and completing daily sudoku puzzles. It also offers access to a Virtual GP, access to structured clinical counselling for you and members of your household as well as other support areas from career coaching to legal support.
JDR contributes up to 8% to the pension scheme, with the option for employees to opt out, or increase beyond the maximum capped rate, if they choose.
